Unlimited Km Truck Hire vs Included Kilometres: What Interstate Movers Should Know

"Unlimited kms" is a common search when planning an interstate move, because kilometre charges can turn a cheap hire into an expensive one. What matters most is not the label, but whether the kilometres you will actually drive are covered in the price. Here is how Bigg Boxx Rentals handles it.

Included kilometres, not per-km surprises. Every Bigg Boxx one-way route is a flat, GST-inclusive package with a set number of kilometres already included, sized for the route. You know the cost of the whole trip before you leave.

The allowance on each route. Melbourne to Sydney and Sydney to Melbourne: 3 days, 1,000 km. Sydney to Brisbane and Brisbane to Sydney: 3 days, 1,000 km. Melbourne to Brisbane and Brisbane to Melbourne: 4 days, 2,000 km. Melbourne to Adelaide: 4 days, 900 km. Adelaide to Melbourne: 2 days, 900 km. Sydney to Adelaide and Adelaide to Sydney: 3 days, 1,500 km. Brisbane to Adelaide: 3 days, 2,200 km. Adelaide to Brisbane: 4 days, 2,200 km.

Need more? If you are taking a longer route, making a detour or need extra time, add extra days and extra kilometres during booking. The price updates instantly and stays GST inclusive, so there are no surprises at drop-off.

Check your route before you book. Map your actual route — including any detours — and compare it with the included kilometres. If it is close, add a little extra at booking rather than risking it on the road.

What else is included. Damage protection with a $6,500 excess is included in every package, and excess reduction is available at checkout. A refundable security bond applies, explained clearly before you pay. Every one-way truck and van drives on a standard Australian car licence.
